My techs won't use it. What do they actually have to do?+
Open the job, clock in, clock out, and photograph a ticket if they bought something. They don't need a login for any of it — dispatched crew are scheduled, clocked and costed without one, which is also why they don't appear on your bill.
How does per-login pricing work when someone quits?+
Logins are seats you assign, not people you hired. Move a seat to the next person the same day, or drop it and your next bill is lower. You're never paying for an empty seat or for a helper who only ever gets dispatched.
Is the GPS following my guys around all day?+
No. A location is recorded at the moment someone clocks in or out, and nothing in between. A punch without a location still works — basements and dead zones are normal, and an entry that can't be placed is recorded as exactly that rather than treated as suspicious.
What happens to my data if I leave?+
It's yours and you can export it. We'd rather lose a customer than hold their business hostage — and an export button is cheaper for us than a chargeback.
Can I bring my existing customers across?+
Yes. Export a CSV from whatever you use now and import it — columns are matched for you, bad rows are listed by line number so you can fix them, and running the same file twice won't duplicate anyone.
Does it replace QuickBooks?+
No. Blue-Trades owns the job — the quote, the hours, the material, the invoice. Invoices can be exported for your bookkeeper. A direct QuickBooks sync is on the roadmap and not built yet, and we'd rather tell you that than let you find out in month two.
